Het is zover, het is eindelijk november! De eerste activiteit van Jong Aartsbisdom komt steeds dichterbij. Deze dag is voor álle jongeren van het Aartsbisdom Utrecht, dus wees erbij!
Op het hoogfeest van Christus Koning van het Heelal, zondag 26 november, verzamelen alle jongeren ter wereld zich rond hun bisschop. Daarom heet deze dag Wereld Jongeren Dag. Deze dag komen wij in het Aartsbisdom Utrecht bij elkaar in Wageningen, om daar samen met kardinaal Eijk en de International Catholic Community (ICC) de Engelse mis te vieren en net zoals in Lissabon deze zomer, de vreugde van de universele Kerk te beleven.
Deze zomer zijn we met een grote groep Utrechtse jongeren op reis geweest naar de WJD in Lissabon. En in april is er ook een groep jongeren meegegaan met de bisdombedevaart naar Lourdes. Deze twee groepen zijn speciaal uitgenodigd. Dit is voor hen ook een soort reünie. Maar, benadrukt jongerenwerker Sarah Mijhad: “Dit is ook dé gelegenheid om andere jongeren uit het Aartsbisdom te ontmoeten of elkaar weer terug te zien, iedereen is welkom!”
Het programma voor deze dag ziet er als volgt uit:
- 13.00 uur Engelse Hoogmis met kardinaal Eijk*
- 14.30 uur Elkaar ontmoeten
- 15.00 uur Inleiding door Anton ten Klooster
- 15.30 uur Filmpjes en verhalen over de WJD en Lourdes door pelgrims
- 15.45 uur Tijd met je groep van de WJD/ Lourdes/ jongeren uit het Aartsbisdom Utrecht
- 16.30 uur Aanbidding & biechtgelegenheid met kardinaal Eijk
- 17.30 uur Maaltijd
*De rest van de dag is de voertaal Nederlands, maar is er Engelse vertaling mogelijk.

Kosten: € 5 (contant of Tikkie)
Parkeren bij de kerk is niet mogelijk. Zoek dus even zelf een parkeergarage als je met de auto komt.
Kardinaal Eijk en het JA team kijken heel erg uit naar deze dag. Ben je er ook bij?!
Geef je dan snel op via onderstaand aanmeldformulier, zodat wij weten hoeveel jongeren er komen. Aanmelden kan tot 20 november.

Diocesan World Youth Day in Wageningen
It’s finally November! The first activity for the Youth of the Archdiocese of Utrecht is almost here. This day is for all young people of the Archdiocese of Utrecht, so be there!
On the solemnity of Christ the King of the Universe, Sunday November 26, all the young people in the world gather around their bishop. That is why this day is called World Youth Day. This day we come together in Wageningen to celebrate the English Mass together with cardinal Eijk and the International Catholic Community (ICC) and, just like in Lisbon this summer, to experience the joy of the universal Church.
This summer we travelled with a large group of young people from Utrecht to the WYD in Lisbon. And in April a group of young people also went on the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes. These two groups are specially invited. This is a kind of reunion for them too.
But, says youth worker Sarah Mijhad: “This is your opportunity to meet other young people from the Archdiocese of Utrecht or to see each other again, everyone is welcome!”
The program for this day is as follows:
- 1:00 PM English High Mass with Cardinal Eijk*
- 2:30 PM Time to meet each other
- 3:00 PM Lecture by Anton ten Klooster
- 3:30 PM Videos and stories by pilgrims about the WYD and Lourdes
- 3:45 PM Time with your group from the WYD/ Lourdes/ young people from the Archdiocese of Utrecht
- 4:30 PM Adoration & confession with Cardinal Eijk
- 5:30 PM Meal
*The rest of the day the language will be Dutch, but English translations are available.

Parking at the church is not possible. So if you come by car, please search for a Parking Garage.
